AFIM Leeds West Yorkshire UK is one of the global prayer satellites of the ministry where Apostle Reginald Ofori-Atta is the General Overseer. The ministry/Church at Leeds was inaugurated in June 2006 following specific divine instruction given to God’s servant (Apostle Reginald Ofori-Atta).The Ministry/church since its inception has continued to fulfil the great commission and mandate as prescribed by the scriptures (Mathew 28:18-19, Mark 16:15-16).It is a word based multicultural church where disciples are raised, nutured and trained to maximize their potentials in order to actualize their destinies. This we achieve by faith (1 John 5:4) through the seasoned teachings and principles that are scripturally based. Members of our church community are schooled in the art of spiritual warfare, strategic and prophetic prayers that are hinged on God’s word (1John 5:14, James 15:16b) that are result oriented. This factor has continually enabled open heavens that ushers us in to the realm of the supernatural (John 3:8) with undeniable proofs, diverse manifestations of His divine power, miracles, signs and wonders.
Additionally, members of our church community are empowered through our scripturally based teachings and principles into accessing the realm of financial liberty and abundance (3 John: 2, Mathew 6:33) even in this time of great global economic depression. We provide counselling services and support which are undertaken by a team of trained and qualified pastors in the areas of spiritual problems and oppression,  relationship problems and break ups, marital challenges, divorce and separation, parenting challenges, bereavement, financial hardship and crisis, destitution, unemployment, discrimination, difficulties in coping with education/ studies and other areas of physical challenges. Above all, we are committed to teachings that are geared towards equipping our church community for the second coming of our saviour (1Thessolnians 4:16-17).
Furthermore, AFIM Leeds is also a registered UK charity which operates in the areas of relief of poverty, advocacy, education and training, counselling, food and housing support to those experiencing severe hardship, destitution and homelessness. We are presently undertaking a food bank project (AFIM Food Bank). It is a drop in sessions where our clients are served hot meals and other food related items are given out to clients. These sessions takes place three days every week (Sundays: 10am – 2pm, Wednesdays 6pm -9pm, and Fridays 6pm-9pm).These sessions are overseen by our project coordinators, supervisors and volunteers. We get our referrals from community organisations, Refugee organisations, GP surgeries and hospitals, and other religious organizations.
We also have recently commenced the basic IT/Computer skills acquisition programme. This initiative is aimed at repositioning our service users for employability. This is especially in consideration of the extreme competition at the present job market. We have on site administrators and instructors that train our services users to gain the basic skills and knowledge.
The leadership of AFIM Leeds is piloted by a team of Pastors as contained in the page on pastors, and in partnership with head of departments/ projects and other church workers. We have various departments which includes the praise and worship team (choral group), evangelism and outreach team, school of prayer, women fellowship (Daughters of destiny), men fellowship, Youth fellowship, ushering and protocol  team, media team, hospitality team, the children and toddlers group.
